Business Rate Reference Data

The Business Rate reference data window can be accessed by navigating to Estates > Business Rate > Business Rate.

Note: You must have a role with the BusinessRateReferenceData permission to access this window.

The following reference data is available:

Use this reference data to record business rates against each year. The figures are sent to businesses by the local council in February or March each year.

Business Rate Year reference data

Use this reference data to record reasons for rateable values.

Rateable Value Reason reference data

Use this reference data to define types of relief for business rates. A relief period on a business rate can occur for various reasons (for example: the property is vacant, fire damaged or there is ongoing refurbishment). Each type of relief can have a different duration associated with it.
