Record Confidence Indicator

The K2 Record Confidence Indicator is displayed in the title bar for a record in K2.

It displays to the user a level of confidence that the user and K2 have in the accuracy of the data recorded for the selected entity.

Each indicator contains six levels ranging from ‘High Confidence’ to ‘No Confidence’.

Use the record confidence indicator to:

Review User Confidence

Use the Record Confidence User Events window to add or remove confidence events.

Only events with a status of 'Live' are displayed by default. Edit the Status filter to view completed events, if required.

The window can be accessed by clicking the Review user confidence button.

To add a confidence event:

  • Click the Add Confidence Event button.

A new record is added to the grid.

  • Enter the relevant details.

Description

A description of the event.

Notes

Any notes on the event.

Status

The status of the event. For each event logged with the status of 'Live', the level of confidence is reduced by one. For each event logged with the status of 'Completed', the level of confidence is increased by one.

This defaults to 'Live'.

Created By

The user who created the event.

Created Date

The date that the event was created.

Last Update User

The user who last updated the event.

Last Update Date

The date that the event was last updated.

Application Name

The application that the record confidence event was created in (that is: either K2 or Portal).

The confidence events only reflect up to five events. If there are more than five, the bar remains empty. It will only start to improve if there are fewer than five events.

  • Click OK.

Review System Confidence

Use the Record Confidence System Events window to manage system confidence records.

Only events with a status of 'Live' are displayed by default. Edit the Status filter to view completed events, if required.

The window can be accessed by clicking the Review System confidence button.

When a system process completes that directly impacts a record, an event is recorded against the system record confidence indicator with a status of 'Live'.
