Business Rate

Business rates (also known as National Non-Domestic Rates) are a tax on business properties, introduced by the Local Government Finance Act 1988 in England, Scotland and Wales from 1990. Business rates are charged on most non-domestic properties (for example: shops, offices, pubs, warehouses, factories, holiday rental homes, guest houses and so on).
