Roles and Permissions

The permissions applicable to the Audits module are described in the following table.

Allows users to...

AuditLog

Run the audit log.

This permission does not make use of the permission levels (that is: selecting View, Edit or Full allows the user to run the report).

GenericAudit

View, create and update generic audits.

GenericAuditReferenceData

View, create and update Audit reference data.

GenericAuditReport

Run the standard generic audit report.

This permission does not make use of the permission levels (that is: selecting View, Edit or Full allows the user to run the report).

System Settings

System Options (accessed by navigating to Tools > System Options and then clicking the System Options button) contains the settings for the Audits module.

The Restrict Export by Survey Locations (Health and Safety group) is the only setting that directly affects the Audits module. It allows you to define whether to restrict export by survey location. Enter ‘False’ to disable the function.

Reference Data

The Audits reference data applies to the Audits module (accessed by navigating to Health and Safety > Audits > Audits).
