The Department reference data window can be accessed by navigating to Organisation > Department > Department, or by clicking Manage Reference Data in the Tasks panel of a Department Record.
You must have a role with the DepartmentReferenceData permission to access this window.
Use this reference data to group room uses together and assign them to a financial year. This allows different room uses to be grouped each year.
Business Unit Rate
Use this reference data to assign a rate to each business unit for each band for each financial year.
The lowest level of the business unit structure must be selected to avoid duplicates or conflicting rates being applied.
Department Group
Use this reference data to group departments based on the organisational structure. Groups are used to differentiate organisational structures in the same organisation.
Department Service
Use this reference data to define the services that departments provide.
Levels
The levels reference data allows you to create an organisational structure using department records.
The levels are linked to a Department Group so that a single organisation can have multiple structures, for example.
Room Usage Band
Use this reference data to group room usage together for a financial year. This allows room usage to be applied to different price bands each year.
