Roles and Permissions

The permissions applicable to the Core module are described in the following table:

Permission	Allows users to...
Building	View, create and update buildings.
BuildingReferenceData	View, create and update Building reference data.
BusinessUnit	View, create and update business units.
BusinessUnitReferenceData	View, create and update Business Units reference data.
Department	View, create and update department records.
DepartmentReferenceData	View, create and update Department reference data.
EmployeeCalendar	View, create and update Employee Calendar events. Refer to Use the Employee Calendar for further information.
Energy	Certify energy against buildings. This is not currently in use.
EnergyCertificate	Record EPC and DEC information against building records.
GenerateSpaceCharges	Access the Generate Space Charges functionality.
Lease	View, create and update Lease records.
LeaseReferenceData	View, create and update Lease Reference Data.
Room	View, create and update Room data.
RoomReferenceData	View, create and update Room Reference Data.
Site	View, create and update Site records.
Unit	View, create and update Unit records.

System Settings

Building Audit Trail Comments Required (under Audit Trail)	Provide a reason for a change must be recorded when saving a building record.
Business Unit Audit Trail Comments Required (under Audit Trail)	Provide a reason for a change must be recorded when saving a business unit record.
Room Audit Trail Comments Required (under Audit Trail)	Provide a reason for a change must be recorded when saving a room record.
Business Unit Auto Unique Number (under Auto Numbering)	Automatically generate a Business Unit Number on save.
Lease Auto Unique Number (under Auto Numbering)	Automatically generate a Lease Number on save.
Site Auto Unique Number (under Auto Numbering)	Automatically generate a Site Number on save.
Site Area In Hectares - Decimal Places (under Core)	Define the number of decimal places displayed when converting the site area from m² to hectares.
Zone Area In Hectares - Decimal Places (under Core)	Define the number of decimal places displayed when converting the zone area from m² to hectares.
Default Lease Type (under Estates)	Define whether the Lease Type is a Lease In or Lease Out by default.
Default Lease Notice Period (under Estates)	Define the number of the selected time period to be notified in advance of a lease period ending.
Default Lease Notice Period Number (under Estates)	Define the number of the selected time period to be notified in advance of a lease period ending.
Enable Default Lease Notice Period (under Estates)	Enable the default lease notice period.
