Configuring Portable Appliance Testing

Roles and permissions

The permissions applicable to the Portable Appliance Testing module are described in the following table:

System settings

The Restrict Export by Survey Locations setting (in the Health and Safety group) is the only setting in System Options (accessed by navigating to Tools > System Options and then clicking the System Options button) applicable to the Portable Appliance Testing module – whether to restrict export by survey location. Enter ‘False’ to disable the function.

Reference data

Portable Appliance Testing is the only reference data applicable to the Portable Appliance Testing module (accessed by navigating to Health and Safety > Portable Appliance Testing > Portable Appliance Testing).
