System Settings
The Acquisition Auto Unique Number under Auto Numbering in System Options (accessed by navigating to Tools > System Options and then clicking the System Options button) is the only setting directly applicable to the acquisition functionality. It allows the system to either automatically generate each new acquisition number or be entered manually.
Reference Data
The Acquisition Reference Data applies to the Acquisition functionality (accessed by navigating to Estates > Acquisition > Acquisition).
