Configuring Correspondence

Roles and Permissions

The permissions apply to the Correspondence functionality and are described in the following table:

Permission…	Allows users to...
Correspondence	View, create and update correspondence records.
CorrespondenceReferenceData	View, create and update Correspondence Reference Data.

System Settings

The only system option (accessed by navigating to Tools > System Options and then clicking the System Options button) applicable to the correspondence functionality is the Correspondence Auto Unique Numbering (in the Auto Numbering group) – this determines whether to allow the system to automatically generate new correspondence numbers. Enter ‘False’ to disable the function.
